Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: August 24, 2026
At Kiana Beauty Skin, appointment times are reserved specifically for each client. Because each appointment requires dedicated time and preparation, we kindly ask clients to provide adequate notice when an appointment needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.
By booking an appointment with Kiana Beauty Skin, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation Policy.
1. 24-Hour Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time will not be subject to a late cancellation fee.
2. Late Cancellation Fee
A cancellation or rescheduling request made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time is considered a late cancellation.
Late cancellations may be subject to a $30 late cancellation fee.
This policy allows us an opportunity to offer the reserved appointment time to another client.
3. No-Show Policy
A client who does not arrive for a scheduled appointment and does not provide notice is considered a no-show.
No-shows may be subject to a $30 no-show fee.
Repeated no-shows may result in additional booking requirements, including prepayment or a deposit before future appointments can be scheduled.
4. Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment.
If you arrive late, we will make reasonable efforts to provide your service during the remaining appointment time.
However, arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in:
- A shortened treatment
- Modification of the scheduled service
- Rescheduling of the appointment when there is not enough time to safely or properly perform the service
A shortened service resulting from a client’s late arrival may still be charged at the originally scheduled service price.
If an appointment must be rescheduled because of a significant late arrival, the situation may be treated as a late cancellation where appropriate.
5. Rescheduling Appointments
Appointments may be rescheduled without a late cancellation fee when at least 24 hours’ notice is provided.
Requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be subject to the same $30 fee that applies to late cancellations.
Rescheduling is subject to appointment availability.
6. Card on File
When a client has voluntarily provided and authorized a Card on File through our booking or payment provider, an applicable late cancellation or no-show fee may be charged to that payment method when such a charge has been disclosed and authorized as part of the booking process.
Payment information is processed and stored by our third-party payment processor. Kiana Beauty Skin does not directly store complete credit or debit card numbers on its website.
7. Deposits and Prepaid Appointments
Certain appointments, packages, promotions, or services may require a deposit or full prepayment.
If a deposit or prepayment is required, the applicable terms will be disclosed at the time of booking or purchase.
When an appointment involving a deposit or prepayment is cancelled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 24 hours’ notice, the deposit or prepaid amount may be subject to the cancellation terms disclosed at the time of booking.
Where applicable, any remaining prepaid value will be handled according to the original purchase terms and applicable law.
8. Packages and Promotional Appointments
Appointments booked as part of a package, promotion, introductory offer, complimentary service, or special event remain subject to this Cancellation Policy unless different cancellation terms were specifically disclosed.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows involving packages or promotional appointments may require advance payment before additional appointments are accepted.
9. Repeated Late Cancellations or No-Shows
We understand that schedules sometimes change.
However, clients with repeated:
- Late cancellations
- No-shows
- Significant late arrivals
may be required to provide a deposit or full prepayment for future appointments.
Kiana Beauty Skin may also limit or decline future booking requests when there is a repeated pattern of missed appointments or last-minute cancellations.
10. Emergencies and Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that genuine emergencies and unexpected circumstances can occur.
Kiana Beauty Skin may review exceptional circumstances individually and may waive or adjust a cancellation fee at its discretion where appropriate.
A discretionary exception on one occasion does not permanently waive this Cancellation Policy for future appointments.
11. Cancellations by Kiana Beauty Skin
If Kiana Beauty Skin needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment because of an unexpected business, scheduling, safety, or emergency situation, you will not be charged a cancellation fee for that cancellation.
We will make reasonable efforts to contact you and assist with rescheduling the appointment.
12. How to Cancel or Reschedule
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, please contact Kiana Beauty Skin using an available approved contact or booking method.
When possible, use the same booking system or contact information associated with your appointment so that your request can be properly identified.
Cancellation timing is determined based on when Kiana Beauty Skin receives the cancellation or rescheduling request.
13. Agreement to This Policy
By scheduling an appointment with Kiana Beauty Skin, you acknowledge that appointment time is being reserved specifically for you and agree to the terms of this Cancellation Policy.
This Cancellation Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to This Policy
Kiana Beauty Skin may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time.
When changes are made, the Effective Date at the top of this page will be updated.
The policy applicable to an appointment will be the policy presented or made available in connection with the booking, subject to applicable law.
